Groundswell: Film Screening
1721 S 9th St.
Waco, TX 76706
Join us at the Baylor Community Gardens (1721 S 9th St) for an outdoor community screening
of Groundswell, a Golden Globe winning documentary narrated by Demi Moore and Woody
Harrelson about the ways people around the world are working with nature to grow food in ways
that restores the planet one acre at a time.
Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with regenerative agriculture experts
and members of SCRAP, a Baylor-Waco collective creating a thriving, just, and resilient local
food system. Popcorn and drinks included with a raffle for special prizes!
This screening is part of Baylor’s first International Food Festival, which begins Nov. 11 at East
Village Dining Commons.
Sponsored by the Vice Provost for Community Engagement and Belonging in collaboration with
Environmental Humanities and with support from the Office of Sustainability and the Ethics
Center at Baylor University.
